     Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Babington was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir James Melville Babington. He married Lady Anne Katherine Egerton, daughter of John Francis Granville Scrope Egerton, 4th Earl of Ellesmere and Lady Violet Lambton, on 8 April 1931. He died on 8 December 1956.

She held the office of Lady-in-Waiting to HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother between 1990 and 2002.1 She was invested as a Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1994.1 She lived in 2003 at The Close, Broughton, Stockbridge, Hampshire, England.1

     Thomas Francis Anson, 3rd Earl of Lichfield was born on 31 January 1856.1 He was the son of Thomas George Anson, 2nd Earl of Lichfield and Lady Harriett Georgiana Louisa Hamilton.1 He married Lady Mildred Coke, daughter of Thomas William Coke, 2nd Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Juliana Whitbread, on 5 November 1878.2 He died on 29 July 1918 at age 62, following a shooting accident.2
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).2 He succeeded to the title of 4th Viscount Anson, of Shugborough and Orgrave, co. Stafford [U.K., 1806] on 7 January 1892.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Earl of Lichfield, co. Stafford [U.K., 1831] on 7 January 1892.1 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baron Soberton, of Soberton, co. Southampton [U.K., 1806] on 7 January 1892.1 He was a director of the National Provinical Bank.2 He was a director of the Bank of Australia.2 He was president of the Marylebone Cricket Club.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Staffordshire.2
