Hon. Sir Ronald Hugh Campbell, on 8 December 1934. He married, secondly, Mary Truda Lea, daughter of Sir Thomas Sydney Lea, 2nd Bt., on 29 January 1954.

     Francis Ronald Egerton, 7th Duke of Sutherland was born on 18 February 1940. He is the son of Cyril Reginald Egerton and Mary Campbell. He married Victoria Mary Williams, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Edward Alexander Wilmot Williams, on 11 May 1974.1
     Francis Ronald Egerton, 7th Duke of Sutherland succeeded to the title of 7th Duke of Sutherland in 2000.
