Thomas Grosvenor Egerton, 2nd Earl of Wilton of Wilton Castle was born on 30 December 1799. He was the son of Robert Grosvenor, 1st Marquess of Westminster and Lady Eleanor Egerton.2 He married, firstly, Lady Mary Margaret Stanley, daughter of Edward Smith-Stanley, 12th Earl of Derby and Eliza Farren, on 29 November 1821. He married, secondly, Isabella Smith on 12 September 1863. He died on 7 March 1882 at age 82.
