     Maurice Charles Joseph Blake was born on 20 July 1837.1 He was the son of Valentine O'Connor Blake and Hon. Margaret Mary ffrench.1 He married Jeanette O'Reilly, daughter of Richard Pearce O'Reilly, on 24 November 1863.1 He died on 29 April 1915 at age 77.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Mayo in 1864.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, Connaught Rangers.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Galway.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Mayo.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Mayo.1 He lived at Towerhill, Clooneen, County Mayo, IrelandG.1
     He also had five daughters, all of whom either died in infancy, or were unmarried.1

     Jeanette O'Reilly was the daughter of Richard Pearce O'Reilly.1 She married Maurice Charles Joseph Blake, son of Valentine O'Connor Blake and Hon. Margaret Mary ffrench, on 24 November 1863.1 She died in 1916.1
     From 24 November 1863, her married name became Blake.1

     Valentine Jospeh Blake was born on 10 June 1866.1 He was the son of Maurice Charles Joseph Blake and Jeanette O'Reilly.1 He died on 29 July 1947 at age 81, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Connaught Rangers.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Mayo in 1916.1

Mary Josephine French was born in 1860 at Ireland.2 She was the daughter of Charles French, 3rd Baron de Freyne of Coolavin and Catherine Maree.1,3 She married Valentine Joseph Blake, son of Valentine O'Connor Blake and Hon. Margaret Mary ffrench, on 1 September 1880.3 She died on 20 February 1919.1
     From 1 September 1880, her married name became Blake.3

Charles French, 3rd Baron de Freyne of Coolavin1

     Charles French, 3rd Baron de Freyne of Coolavin was born on 22 October 1790.2 He was the son of Arthur French and Margaret Costello.3,4 He married Catherine Maree, daughter of Luke Maree, on 13 February 1851 in a in an Roman Catholic ceremony which under the laws of Ireland at the time was held invalid marriage.3 Charles and Catherine were also married in a religious ceremony on 17 May 1854.3 He died on 28 October 1868 at age 78.3
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron de Freyne of Coolavin, co. Sligo [U.K., 1851] on 22 August 1863.3

     Lady Alice Magdalene Grey Egerton was born in 1848.2 She was the daughter of Thomas Grosvenor Egerton, 2nd Earl of Wilton of Wilton Castle and Lady Mary Margaret Stanley.1 She married Sir Henry Dalrymple Des Voeux, 5th Bt., son of Reverend Henry Des Voeux and Frances Dalrymple, on 13 August 1863.1 She died on 21 December 1925.1
     From 13 August 1863, her married name became Des Voeux.1
