Hon. Leopold William Henry Powys was born on 17 September 1837. He was the son of Thomas Atherton Powys, 3rd Baron Lilford and Hon. Mary Elizabeth Fox.1 He married Lady Mary Acheson, daughter of Archibald Acheson, 3rd Earl of Gosford and Lady Theodosia Brabazon, on 27 February 1862.1 He died on 18 July 1893 at age 55.

She married Thomas Henry Burroughes, son of Reverend Jeremiah Burroughes and Pleasance Preston, on 20 April 1858 at Oundle, Northamptonshire, England.1 She died on 10 February 1864 at Stamford, Lincolnshire, England.1
