     Maj.-Gen. William Edward Montgomery lived at Grey Abbey, County Down, Ireland.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the Scots Guards.1

     Henry Fox, 1st Baron Holland of Foxley was born on 28 September 1705.3 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Stephen Fox and Christiana Hope.3 He married, firstly, Penelope Dyne, daughter of John Dyne, in February 1732/33.3 He married, secondly, Georgiana Carolina Lennox, Lady Holland, Baroness of Holland, daughter of General Charles Lennox, 2nd Duke of Richmond and Lady Sarah Cadogan, on 2 May 1744 at London, England.1 He died on 1 July 1774 at age 68.3
     Henry Fox, 1st Baron Holland of Foxley was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.3 He was educated at Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Hindon between 1735 and 1741.3 He held the office of Surveyor-General of Works between 1737 and 1743.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)      Stephen Fox, 2nd Baron Holland of Foxley was born on 20 February 1745.1 He was the son of Henry Fox, 1st Baron Holland of Foxley and Georgiana Carolina Lennox, Lady Holland, Baroness of Holland.1 He married Lady Mary FitzPatrick, daughter of John FitzPatrick, 1st Earl of Upper Ossory and Lady Evelyn Leveson-Gower, on 20 April 1766 at London, England.1 He died on 26 December 1774 at age 29.1
     Stephen Fox, 2nd Baron Holland of Foxley was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Holland of Foxley, co. Wilts [G.B., 1763] on 1 July 1774.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Lord Holland, Baron of Holland [G.B., 1762] on 24 July 1774.1

She was the daughter of Henry Richard Vassall Fox, 3rd Baron Holland of Foxley and Elizabeth Vassall.1 She married Thomas Atherton Powys, 3rd Baron Lilford, son of Thomas Powys, 2nd Baron Lilford and Henrietta Maria Atherton, on 22 May 1830.1 She died on 7 December 1891 at age 85.
     From 22 May 1830, her married name became Powys.

     Thomas Littleton Powys, 4th Baron Lilford was born on 18 March 1833. He was the son of Thomas Atherton Powys, 3rd Baron Lilford and Hon. Mary Elizabeth Fox. He married, firstly, Emma Elizabeth Brandling, daughter of Robert William Brandling, on 14 June 1859 at London, England. He married, secondly, Clementina Baillie-Hamilton, daughter of Ker Baillie-Hamilton and Emma Blair, on 21 July 1885 at Hawthorne Hill, Berkshire, England.1 He died on 17 June 1896 at age 63.
     Thomas Littleton Powys, 4th Baron Lilford gained the title of 4th Baron Lilford.
