Henry Fox, 1st Baron Holland of Foxley was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.3 He was educated at Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Hindon between 1735 and 1741.3 He held the office of Surveyor-General of Works between 1737 and 1743.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Windsor between 1741 and 1761.3 He held the office of a Lord of Treasury between 1743 and 1746.3 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1746.3 He held the office of Secretary of War between 1746 and 1755.3 He held the office of Secretary of State for the South.3 He held the office of Leader of the House of Commons between 1755 and 1756.3 He held the office of Paymaster-General between 1757 and 1765.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dunwich between 1761 and 1763.3 He was Clerk of the Pells [Ireland] in 1762.3 He was created 1st Baron Holland of Foxley, co. She was the daughter of Henry Richard Vassall Fox, 3rd Baron Holland of Foxley and Elizabeth Vassall.1 She married Thomas Atherton Powys, 3rd Baron Lilford, son of Thomas Powys, 2nd Baron Lilford and Henrietta Maria Atherton, on 22 May 1830.1 She died on 7 December 1891 at age 85.

Thomas Atherton Powys, 3rd Baron Lilford was born on 2 December 1801. He was the son of Thomas Powys, 2nd Baron Lilford and Henrietta Maria Atherton. He married Hon. Mary Elizabeth Fox, daughter of Henry Richard Vassall Fox, 3rd Baron Holland of Foxley and Elizabeth Vassall, on 22 May 1830.1 He died on 15 March 1861 at age 59.

Thomas Littleton Powys, 4th Baron Lilford was born on 18 March 1833. He was the son of Thomas Atherton Powys, 3rd Baron Lilford and Hon. Mary Elizabeth Fox. He married, firstly, Emma Elizabeth Brandling, daughter of Robert William Brandling, on 14 June 1859 at London, England. He married, secondly, Clementina Baillie-Hamilton, daughter of Ker Baillie-Hamilton and Emma Blair, on 21 July 1885 at Hawthorne Hill, Berkshire, England.1 He died on 17 June 1896 at age 63.
