Helen Cecil Olive Plunket was born on 15 April 1895.² She was the daughter of William Lee Plunket, 5th Baron Plunket of Newton and Lady Victoria Alexandrina Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood.^1,2 She married Major Arthur Tahu Gravenor Rhodes, son of Arthur Edgar Gravenor Rhodes and Rosetta Moorhouse, on 24 January 1916.² She died on 24 February 1968 at age 72.³
     Her married name became Rhodes.

     William Lee Plunket, 5th Baron Plunket of Newton was born on 19 December 1864.¹ He was the son of Most Rev. William Conyngham Plunket, 4th Baron Plunket of Newton and Anne Lee Guinness.³ He married Lady Victoria Alexandrina Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood, daughter of Frederick Temple Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood, 1st Marquess of Dufferin and Ava and Hariot Georgina Rowan-Hamilton, on 4 June 1894.³ He died on 24 January 1920 at age 55.¹

     Arthur Edgar Gravenor Rhodes was born on 20 March 1859 at New Zealand^G.³ He is the son of George Rhodes and Elizabeth Wood.³ He was baptised at Epworth Grange, Lyttelton, Christchurch, New Zealand^G.³ He married Rosetta Moorhouse, daughter of James William Moorhouse.
     He lived at Christchurch, New Zealand^G.

     Archibald Roxburgh Balfour was born on 13 April 1883.² He was the son of Alexander Balfour of Dawyck and Janet Roxburgh.^3,4 He married, firstly, Pearl Isabel Alice Price, daughter of Arthur Henry Price and Minna Oxley, on 12 September 1908.⁵ He and Pearl Isabel Alice Price were divorced in 1935.⁵ He married, secondly, Lilian Helen Cooper, daughter of Maxwell Dennison Cooper, on 19 December 1935.^6,5 He died on 21 August 1958 at age 75 at Argyllshire, Scotland^G.²

     Terence Conyngham Plunket, 6th Baron Plunket of Newton was born on 12 July 1899.¹ He was the son of William Lee Plunket, 5th Baron Plunket of Newton and Lady Victoria Alexandrina Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood.¹ He married Dorothée Mabel Lewis, daughter of Joseph Lewis and Fanny Ward, on 4 December 1922.¹ He died on 24 February 1938 at age 38 at California, U.S.A.^G, killed, along with his wife, in a plane accident.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War in 1918.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Rifle Brigade.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Plunket of Newton, in the county of Cork [U.K., 1827] on 24 January 1920.¹

     Hon. Denis Kiwa Plunket was born on 6 February 1909.¹ He was the son of William Lee Plunket, 5th Baron Plunket of Newton and Lady Victoria Alexandrina Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood.¹ He married Pamela Mary Watherston, daughter of James Watherston, on 26 December 1962.¹ He died on 8 May 1970 at age 61, without issue.¹
     Hon. Denis Kiwa Plunket usually went by his middle name of Kiwa.¹ He was educated at Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Queen's Westminsters.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Hon. Eileen Hermione Plunket was born on 15 July 1896.¹ She was the daughter of William Lee Plunket, 5th Baron Plunket of Newton and Lady Victoria Alexandrina Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood.¹ She married Rowland Lionel Barnard, son of Colonel W. A. M. Barnard, on 12 October 1931.¹ She died in 1966.¹
     From 12 October 1931, her married name became Barnard.¹
