     Major George Frederick Hutton was the son of Colonel George Holden Hutton and Eva Henrietta Brooke.1 He married Rose Mariehau Rhodes, daughter of Arthur Edgar Gravenor Rhodes.1 He died in 1954.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers.1 He emigrated to Christchurch, New Zealand, arriving on circa 1890.1
