     Dorothée Mabel Lewis was born in 1900.2 She was the daughter of Joseph Lewis and Fanny Ward.2 She married, firstly, Captain Jack Henry Woolf Barnato, son of Barney Isaacs Barnato, in December 1917.2 She married, secondly, Terence Conyngham Plunket, 6th Baron Plunket of Newton, son of William Lee Plunket, 5th Baron Plunket of Newton and Lady Victoria Alexandrina Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood, on 4 December 1922.1 She died on 24 February 1938 at California, U.S.A.G, killed, along with her husband, in a plane accident.1
     From December 1917, her married name became Barnato.2 From 4 December 1922, her married name became Plunket. After her marriage, Dorothée Mabel Lewis was styled as Lady Plunket of Newton on 4 December 1922.
