Keith Norman Montague, 3rd Baron Amwell was born on 1 April 1943.1 He is the son of Frederick Norman Montague, 2nd Baron Amwell and Kathleen Elizabeth Fountain.1 He married Mary Palfreyman, daughter of Frank Palfreyman, on 5 May 1970.1
Keith Norman Montague, 3rd Baron Amwell was educated at Ealing Grammar School, Ealing, Middlesex, England.1 He graduated from Nottingham University in 1964 with the degree of Bachelor of Science, Chemical Engineering (B.Sc.).1 He was a consulting civil engineer in 1965.1 He was registered as a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.).1 He was invested as a Fellow, Institution of Civil Engineers (F.I.C.E.).1 He was registered as a Chartered Geologist (C.Geol.).1 He was registered as a Member, Institute of Highways and Transportation (M.I.H.T.).1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baron Amwell, of Islington, co. London [U.K., 1947] in 1990.1 He was invested as a Fellow, Geological Society (F.G.S.).1 He was a director of Thornburn Holdings and Thornburn Colquhoun (consulting engineers) in 1994.1

He died on 17 July 1803 at age 60 at Barchfeld, Germany.
