Dutch, on 22 June 1971.1 He and Valerie Ann Dutch were divorced in 1975.1 He married, secondly, Deirdre Melina Jane Simmons, daughter of Thomas James Simmons, in 1990.1 He died on 30 November 1993 at age 61, without issue.1
