     Maj.-Gen. Sir William Salmond is the son of James Salmond and Emma Isabella Coke. He married Emma Mary Hoyle, daughter of William Fretwell Hoyle and Jane Grave Walker.2
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Engineers.2

Alexandra Imogen Clair Grenfell was born on 11 February 1905.2 She was the daughter of William Henry Grenfell, 1st and last Baron Desborough and Ethel Anne Priscilla Fane.3 She married Henry Rainald Gage, 6th Viscount Gage of Castle Island, son of Henry Charles Gage, 5th Viscount Gage of Castle Island and Leila Georgina Peel, on 26 February 1931.2 She died on 3 January 1969 at age 63.2
     Her married name became Gage.

     George John St. Clere Gage, 7th Viscount Gage of Castle Island was born on 8 July 1932.1 He was the son of Henry Rainald Gage, 6th Viscount Gage of Castle Island and Hon. Alexandra Imogen Clair Grenfell.1 He married, firstly, Valerie Ann Dutch, daughter of J. E. Dutch, on 22 June 1971.1 He and Valerie Ann Dutch were divorced in 1975.1 He married, secondly, Deirdre Melina Jane Simmons, daughter of Thomas James Simmons, in 1990.1 He died on 30 November 1993 at age 61, without issue.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baron Gage of Castlebar, co. Mayo [I., 1720] on 27 February 1982.1 He succeeded as the 14th Baronet Gage, of Firley, co. Sussex [E., 1622] on 27 February 1982.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Gage of High Meadow, co.
