     Henry Metcalfe Ames lived at Linden, Northumberland, England.¹

     Lieutenant Victor Parker was born on 29 August 1877.¹ He was the son of Hon. Reginald Parker and Katharine May Ames.¹ He died on 5 March 1916 at age 38, while on active service.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 1st Northumbrian Brigade, Royal Field Artillery.¹

     Doreen Maud Parker was born on 30 August 1879.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Reginald Parker and Katharine May Ames.¹ She married, firstly, James Randolph Innes Hopkins, son of William Randolph James Hopkins and Evereld Catherine Eliza Hustler, on 29 September 1904.¹ She married, secondly, Thomas Sackville Manning, son of Augustus Sackville Manning, on 6 October 1915.¹ She died on 29 July 1943 at age 63, leaving issue.¹
      From 29 September 1904, her married name became Hopkins. From 6 October 1915, her married name became Manning.

     James Randolph Innes Hopkins was born circa 1877 at Ayton, Yorkshire, England.² He was the son of William Randolph James Hopkins and Evereld Catherine Eliza Hustler.^1,2 He married Doreen Maud Parker, daughter of Hon. Reginald Parker and Katharine May Ames, on 29 September 1904.¹ He died in 1915, killed in action.¹
     He lived at Lenox Gardens, London, England. He fought in the First World War.¹

     William Randolph James Hopkins was born circa 1828 at Scotland.¹ He was the son of John Castell Hopkins and Agnes Robson.¹ He married, firstly, Elise Carolina Sophia Bolckow, daughter of Henry John Bolckow, on 28 June 1854 at Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England.¹ He married, secondly, Evereld Catherine Eliza Hustler in 1864 at Stockport, Cheshire, England.¹ He died in December 1920.¹
     He lived at Grimstone Manor, Yorkshire, England.²

     Thomas Sackville Manning is the son of Augustus Sackville Manning.¹ He married Doreen Maud Parker, daughter of Hon. Reginald Parker and Katharine May Ames, on 6 October 1915.¹

     Ethel Henrietta Parker was born on 6 November 1880.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Reginald Parker and Katharine May Ames.¹ She married Sir Wilfred Forbes Home Thomson, 1st Bt. on 1 June 1899.¹ She died on 24 January 1968 at age 87, leaving issue.¹
      Her married name became Thomson.

     Sir Wilfred Forbes Home Thomson, 1st Bt. was born on 29 March 1858. He married Ethel Henrietta Parker, daughter of Hon. Reginald Parker and Katharine May Ames, on 1 June 1899.¹ He died on 29 January 1939 at age 80.
     He gained the title of 1st Baronet Thomson, of Old Nunthorpe, York.

     Maria Sandham was the daughter of Major unknown Sandham.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Charles Montagu Chester, son of Reverend William Chester and Hon. Elizabeth Wilson, on 7 September 1843.¹ She died in 1893.¹
      From 7 September 1843, her married name became Chester.¹
