     Martha Brigges is the daughter of Robert Brigges.1 She married, firstly, Richard Spencer.1 She married, secondly, Sir John Stonhouse, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Stonhouse, 1st/3rd Bt. and Hon. Margaret Lovelace, on 10 October 1668.1
     Her married name became Spencer. From 10 October 1668, her married name became Stonhouse.

     Sir John Stonhouse, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1673.1 He was the son of Sir John Stonhouse, 2nd Bt. and Martha Brigges.2 He married, firstly, Mary Mellish, daughter of Henry Mellish, in 1695.1 He married, secondly, Penelope Dashwood, daughter of Sir Robert Dashwood, 1st Bt. and Penelope Chamberlayne, on 29 August 1706.1 He died on 10 October 1733.1
     He was educated at Queen's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Stonhouse, of Radley, Berkshire [E., 1670] circa 1700.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Berkshire between 1701 and 1733.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1713.1 He held the office of Comptroller of the Household from 1713 to 1714.1

     Mary Mellish was the daughter of Henry Mellish.1 She married Sir John Stonhouse, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Stonhouse, 2nd Bt. and Martha Brigges, in 1695.1 She died before 1706, without male issue.1
     From 1695, her married name became Stonhouse.

     Martha Stonhouse was born on 28 August 1697.1 She was the daughter of Sir John Stonhouse, 3rd Bt. and Mary Mellish.3 She married Arthur Vansittart, son of Peter van Sittart and Susanna Sanderson, on 23 May 1723.4 She died on 13 June 1782 at age 84.4
     From 23 May 1723, her married name became Vansittart.

     Sir George Gerard de Hochepied Larpent, 1st Bt. was born on 16 February 1786.1 He was the son of John de l'Arpent and Anna Margaretta Porter. He married Charlotte Cracroft, daughter of William Cracroft and Elizabeth Sewell Hawkes, on 13 October 1813.2 He married, secondly, Louisa Martha Bailey, daughter of George Bailey, on 17 July 1852.1 He died on 8 March 1855 at age 69.1
     He was given the name of George Gerard Larpent at birth.1 He was created 1st Baronet Larpent [U.K.] on 13 October 1841.
