     Henry William FitzGerald-de Ros, 21st Lord de Ros of Helmsley was born on 12 June 1793.1 He was the son of Lord Henry FitzGerald and Charlotte Boyle, Baroness de Ros of Helmsley.1 He died on 28 March 1839 at age 45, unmarried.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for West Looe between 1815 and 1818.1 He succeeded to the title of 21st Lord de Ros of Helmsley [E., 1299] on 9 January 1831.1

     General William Lennox Lascelles FitzGerald-de Ros, 22nd Lord de Ros of Helmsley was born on 1 September 1797 at Thames Ditton, Surrey, England.1 He was the son of Lord Henry FitzGerald and Charlotte Boyle, Baroness de Ros of Helmsley.1 He married Lady Georgiana Lennox, daughter of General Charles Lennox, 4th Duke of Richmond and Lady Charlotte Gordon, on 7 June 1824 at London, England.2 He died on 6 January 1874 at age 76 at Old Court, Strangford, County Down, Ireland.1
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He succeeded to the title of 22nd Lord de Ros of Helmsley [E., 1299] on 29 March 1839.1 He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of the Tower of London in 1852.1 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1852.1 He was Colonel of the 4th Hussars in 1865.1 He gained the rank of General in 1868.1

She was the daughter of General Charles Lennox, 4th Duke of Richmond and Lady Charlotte Gordon.1 She married General William Lennox Lascelles FitzGerald-de Ros, 22nd Lord de Ros of Helmsley, son of Lord Henry FitzGerald and Charlotte Boyle, Baroness de Ros of Helmsley, on 7 June 1824 at London, England.1 She died on 15 December 1891 at age 96 at London, England.1
      From 7 June 1824, her married name became FitzGerald-de Ros.

     James Rannie Swinton was the son of John Campbell Swinton and Catherine Rannie.1,2 He married Hon. Blanche Arthur Georgina FitzGerald-de Ros, daughter of General William Lennox Lascelles FitzGerald-de Ros, 22nd Lord de Ros of Helmsley and Lady Georgiana Lennox, on 11 July 1865.1 He died in December 1888.1
