     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1

     From 3 July 1948, her married name became Wathen.

Evelyn Cornwallis Anderson-Pelham and Harriet Frances Hutton, on 22 November 1951.1
     From 10 September 1925, her married name became Long. From 22 November 1951, her married name became Welby-Pelham.1

     Captain Eustace Ruffel Drake Long was born in 1884 at Beachampton, Buckinghamshire, England.2 He was the son of Reverend David Long and Clara Elizabeth Poole.3,2 He married Sylvia Augusta Starkey, daughter of Captain Sir John Ralph Starkey, 1st Bt. and Emily Seely, on 10 September 1925.1 He married Ethel Ida Yeats-Brown, daughter of Fredrick Yeats-Brown and Ida von Pustau.4 He died on 30 June 1941.
     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1
