Barbara Mary Frankland was born on 13 May 1906.2 She was the daughter of Sir Frederick William Francis George Frankland, 10th Bt. and Mary Cecil Curzon, Baroness Zouche.3 She married, firstly, Brigadier Sir Otho Leslie Prior-Palmer, son of Prior Spunner Prior-Palmer and Anne Leslie Gason, on 6 July 1926.3 She and Brigadier Sir Otho Leslie Prior-Palmer were divorced in 1937.3 She married, secondly, Edward John Sidney Christian Wellbore Ellis Agar, 5th Earl of Normanton, son of Sidney James Agar, 4th Earl of Normanton and Lady Amy Frederica Alice Byng, on 5 July 1937.3 She and Edward John Sidney Christian Wellbore Ellis Agar, 5th Earl of Normanton were divorced in 1943.3 She married, thirdly, Peter Herbert Lucas, son of Alfred Herbert Lucas and Louise Marie Elizabeth Brierly, on 4 February 1943.3 She and Peter Herbert Lucas were divorced in 1960.3 She died on 12 September 2000 at age 94.2
From 6 July 1926, her married name became Prior-Palmer. From 5 July 1937, her married name became Agar. From 4 February 1943, her married name became Lucas. In 1958 her name was legally changed to Frankland by Deed Poll.3

Brigadier Sir Otho Leslie Prior-Palmer was born on 28 October 1897.2 He was the son of Prior Spunner Prior-Palmer and Anne Leslie Gason.1,2 He married, firstly, Hon. Barbara Mary Frankland, daughter of Sir Frederick William Francis George Frankland, 10th Bt. and Mary Cecil Curzon, Baroness Zouche, on 6 July 1926.3 He and Hon. Barbara Mary Frankland were divorced in 1937.3 He married, secondly, Sheila Mary Weller Poley in 1940.2 He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Henderson, daughter of Harold Henderson, in 1964.4 He died on 29 January 1986 at age 88.5,2
