     John Mills was born on 11 August 1789.1 He was the son of William Mills and Elizabeth Digby.1 He married Sarah Charlotte Micklethwait, daughter of Nathaniel Micklethwait and Charlotte Marianne Harriet Rous, on 28 July 1835.1 He died on 28 February 1871 at age 81.1
