     From August 1858, her married name became Cooper.

Mark Prendergast, on 17 September 1883.1 He died on 26 May 1900 at age 41 at South AfricaG, on active service.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Field Artillery.1 He lived at Markree Castle, County Sligo, Ireland.3 He fought in the Boer War.1

     Ella Prendergast was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Mark Prendergast.2 She married Major Francis Edward Cooper, son of Col. Rt. Hon. Edward Henry Cooper and Charlotte Maria Mills, on 17 September 1883.1 She died on 5 December 1924.1
     From 17 September 1883, her married name became Cooper.
