     Mary Robertson is the daughter of Alexander Robertson.2 She married Aeneas Macdonell, son of John Macdonell, 12th of Glengarry and Margaret Mackenzie.1
     Her married name became Macdonell.

     Duncan Macdonell, 14th of Glengarry was the son of Aeneas Macdonell and Mary Robertson.2 He married Marjory Grant, daughter of Sir Ludovic Grant of Dalvey, 6th Bt. and Margaret Innes, on 5 December 1772.1 He died on 11 July 1788.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Lord Macdonell [Scotland, 1716] on 23 December 1761, Jacobite.1

     Major Charles Macdonell was the son of John Macdonell, 12th of Glengarry and Helen Gordon.2 He died in 1759 at Quebec, Canada, killed, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 78th Highlanders.1 He fought in the Capture of Quebec in 1759.1

     Helen Macdonell was the daughter of John Macdonell, 12th of Glengarry and Helen Gordon.2 She married Ranald Macdonell, 5th of Scotus, son of Donald Macdonell, 4th of Scotus and Elizabeth Cuming of Carter.1 She died on 7 June 1793.2
     She was also known as Anne.1

Ranald Macdonell, 5th of Scotus1

     Ranald Macdonell, 5th of Scotus was born circa 1735.2 He was the son of Donald Macdonell, 4th of Scotus and Elizabeth Cuming of Carter.3 He married, secondly, Helen Macdonell, daughter of John Macdonell, 12th of Glengarry and Helen Gordon.1 He married, firstly, Helen Grant, daughter of Patrick Grant, 7th of Glenmoriston and Isobel Grant, circa 1757.3 He died in June 1811.3
     He fought in the Battle of Culloden in 1746.3 He was commissioned in 1747, in the service of the Lord Drumlanrig's Regiment.3 He gained the rank of officer in 1757 in the Halkett's Regiment.3 He gained the rank of Captain in the the States General service.3
He gained the rank of officer in the Glengarry Regiment, in Ireland.3 He had another another son and seven daughters by his second wife.3
