     Eneas Ronald Macdonell was born on 26 October 1821.¹ He was the son of Donald Macdonell and Anne Isabella Lochshiel.² He married Catherine Sidgreaves.¹ He died on 13 January 1898 at age 76.¹
     He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).¹ Advocate.¹ He was educated Stonyhurst and Edinburgh U.¹ He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.).¹ He lived S Morar.¹ In 1855 Inverness-shire (bought from Ranald Macdonald 7th of Geridhoil and 14th of Morar (see MACDONALD OF CLANRANALD)).¹

     Catherine Sidgreaves married Eneas Ronald Macdonell, son of Donald Macdonell and Anne Isabella Lochshiel.¹
     She was Lancashire.¹ She lived Inglewhite Hall.¹ Her married name became Macdonell. Only surviving child and heiress of James Sidgreaves.¹
