     Carolyn Anne Skyrme was born on 20 July 1940.¹ She is the daughter of Sir William Thomas Charles Skyrme and Hon. Barbara Suzanne Lyle.² She married Major Philip Norman Elston Holbrook, son of Sir Claude Vivian Holbrook, on 19 January 1966.¹
     She was educated at Heathfield School, Ascot, Berkshire, England^G.¹ She was educated at Paris, France.¹ From 19 January 1966, her married name became Holbrook. She lived in 2003 at The Pond House, Well, Long Sutton, Hampshire, England.¹

     Sir Claude Vivian Holbrook married Kathleen Doris Joan Petersen, daughter of Theodore Petersen, in 1966.² He died on 15 October 1979.²
     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He lived at Upper Durford, Hampshire, England.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹

     Major Philip Norman Elston Holbrook is the son of Sir Claude Vivian Holbrook.² He married Carolyn Anne Skyrme, daughter of Sir William Thomas Charles Skyrme and Hon. Barbara Suzanne Lyle, on 19 January 1966.¹

     Charles Philip Elston Holbrook was born on 9 October 1968.¹ He is the son of Major Philip Norman Elston Holbrook and Carolyn Anne Skyrme.² He married Alexandra Margaret Cooper.³

     Miranda Carolyn Holbrook was born on 20 July 1967.¹ She is the daughter of Major Philip Norman Elston Holbrook and Carolyn Anne Skyrme.²

     Hon. Polly Alexandra Davidson was born on 22 December 2012 at Dubai.¹ She is the daughter of John Nicolas Alexander Davidson, 4th Viscount Davidson and Venetia Sophie Maunsell.¹

     Sir Robert Park Lyle, 1st and last Bt. was born on 17 October 1859.¹ He was the son of Abram Lyle and Mary Park.² He married Agnes Jamieson, daughter of William Jamieson, on 16 August 1882.¹ He died on 11 July 1923 at age 63, without male issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 1st Volunteer Battalion, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.¹ He was chairman of Tate and Lyle.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Lyle [U.K.] on 16 June 1915.¹ He was President of the British Sugar Refiners' Association.¹

     William Jamieson was a shipowner at Greenock, Renfrewshire, Scotland.¹

     Agnes Jamieson was the daughter of William Jamieson.² She married Sir Robert Park Lyle, 1st and last Bt., son of Abram Lyle and Mary Park, on 16 August 1882.¹ She died on 14 October 1943.¹
     From 16 August 1882, her married name became Lyle.
