     Gertrude Agnes Lyle was the daughter of Sir Robert Park Lyle, 1st and last Bt. and Agnes Jamieson.2 She married Major John Hendley Morrison Kirkwood, son of James Morrison Kirkwood and Isabel Gilberta Brockman, on 10 December 1902.1 She died on 28 July 1961.1
      Her married name became Kirkwood. She was married 2nd Lieutenant-Colonel John Hill Pattisson, DSO, Essex Regt, s of William Henry Luard Pattisson, of Writtle, Essex on 4 September 1924.1

     Major John Hendley Morrison Kirkwood was baptised on 24 June 1877 at Gore Court, Otham, Kent, England.2 He was the son of James Morrison Kirkwood and Isabel Gilberta Brockman.3,2 He married Gertrude Agnes Lyle, daughter of Sir Robert Park Lyle, 1st and last Bt. and Agnes Jamieson, on 10 December 1902.1 He died on 7 February 1924 at age 46.
     He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.).1 He lived at Yeo Vale, Devon, England.4
