     Sir Henry Lushington, 4th Bt. was born on 24 January 1826.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Lushington, 3rd Bt. and Eliza Louisa Trower.² He married Elizabeth Cheape, daughter of Anstruther Cheape, on 29 December 1849.¹ He died on 15 March 1898 at age 72.¹
     He was educated Haileybury.¹ He gained the title of 4th Baronet Lushington.¹ Judge Allahabad.¹ He was Bengal Civil Service in 1845.¹

     Elizabeth Cheape was the daughter of Anstruther Cheape.² She married Sir Henry Lushington, 4th Bt., son of Sir Henry Lushington, 3rd Bt. and Eliza Louisa Trower, on 29 December 1849.¹ She died on 6 June 1902.¹

     Sir Arthur Patrick Douglas Lushington, 5th Bt. was born on 19 January 1861.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Lushington, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Cheape.² He married Florence Burness, daughter of James A Burness, on 21 January 1892.¹ He died on 13 April 1937 at age 76, having by his 1st wife had:.¹
     He was Lieutenant 2nd Battalion Scottish Hldrs later Major 3rd Dragoon Guards Boer –02, Queen's Medal two clasps, King's Medal three clasps, WW I War 1900.¹ He was educated Harrow.¹ He gained the title of 5th Baronet Lushington.¹ On 21 November 1929 married 2nd Mabel Marie (died 29 Oct 1955), younger daughter of George Hatfield D Gossip, of Hatfield, Yorks, and formerly wife of Gerald Purcell FitzGerald.¹

     Florence Burness was the daughter of James A Burness.² She married Sir Arthur Patrick Douglas Lushington, 5th Bt., son of Sir Henry Lushington, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Cheape, on 21 January 1892.¹ She died on 7 May 1926.¹
