     Leopold Richard Seymour was born on 23 September 1912.1 He was the son of Richard Sturgis Seymour and Lady Victoria Alexandrina Mabel FitzRoy.1 He married Sheila Butler, daughter of Colonel Arnold Charles Paul Butler, on 13 June 1940.1 He died on 18 September 2000 at age 87.2
     Leopold Richard Seymour gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Grenadier Guards.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He held the office of High Sherriff of Hertfordshire in 1964.1

     Sheila Butler was the daughter of Colonel Arnold Charles Paul Butler.1 She married Leopold Richard Seymour, son of Richard Sturgis Seymour and Lady Victoria Alexandrina Mabel FitzRoy, on 13 June 1940.1 She died on 4 February 1999.1
     Her married name became Seymour.

     Samuel Edmund Gurney was the son of Sir Eustace Gurney.2 He married Alexandra Victoria Seymour, daughter of Richard Sturgis Seymour and Lady Victoria Alexandrina Mabel FitzRoy, on 16 December 1939.2 He died in 1990.2
     Samuel Edmund Gurney was decorated with the award of Territorial Decoration (T.D.).2
