     Averill Eastor Wilson was the daughter of John Wilson.2 She married John Furness, son of John Furness and Margaret Wearmouth, on 5 February 1835.1 She died on 5 October 1890.1
     From 5 February 1835, her married name became Furness.

     Sir William Russell, 1st Bt. was born on 29 May 1773. He was the son of John Russell.1 He married Sophia Russell. He married, secondly, Jane Eliza Sherwood in 1814 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 He died on 9 April 1832 at age 58.
     He was in the Honourable East India Company Service.1 He gained the title of 1st Baronet Russell. He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)

     Stephen Noel Furness was born on 18 December 1902.1 He was the son of Sir Stephen Wilson Furness, 1st Bt. and Eleanor Forster.2 He died on 14 April 1974 at age 71, unmarried.1
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1927 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Rising, Yorkshire.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sunderland between 1935 and 1945.1 He held the office of a Junior Lord of the Treasury between 1938 and 1940.1 He gained the rank of Major in the London Irish Rifles.1 He was a director of the Furness Shipbuilding Company.1
