John de Vaux was the son of Oliver de Vaux and Petronilla (?)2 He married Sibilla (?)1 He died circa 1288.2
He held the office of High Sheriff of Norfolk and Suffolk between 1263 and 1265.1 Circa 1265 he was granted house property in London.1 He fought in the Battle of Evesham in 1265, presumably for the King against Simon de Montfort, Earl of Leicester.1 He held the office of Justice Itinerant circa 1278.1 He held the office of Steward Duchy of Aquitaine circa 1283.1
