     Hon. Henry Spencer Law was born on 10 May 1802.1 He was the son of Edward Law, 1st Baron Ellenborough and Anne Towry.2 He married Dorothea Anne Rochfort, daughter of Colonel John Staunton Rochfort and Mary Burgh, on 16 May 1839.1 He died on 15 July 1885 at age 83.1
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was a practising barrister.1 He gained the rank of in the 1st Life Guards and 28th Regiment.1 He was Private Secretary to the First Lord Admiralty in 1846.1 He was Private Secretary to the President of the Board Control
in 1858.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Kent.1

     Colonel John Staunton Rochfort was the son of John Rochfort and Dorothea Burgh.2 He married, firstly, Harriette Mann, daughter of Sir Horatio Mann, 2nd Bt. and Lady Lucy Noel, in 1802.3 He married, secondly, Mary Burgh, daughter of Thomas Burgh and Anne Aigion, in 1814.4 He died on 6 May 1844.4
     He lived at Clogrenane, County Carlow, IrelandG.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Carlow in 1823.3

Henry Spencer Law and Dorothea Anne Rochfort.2 He married Hermione Octavia Croghan Schenley, daughter of Edward Wyndham Harrington Schenley and Mary Elizabeth Croghan, on 19 December 1906 at Chelsea, London, England.1,3 He died on 9 December 1915 at age 74, without issue.1
     He fought in the Baltic Campaign in 1855.1 He fought in the China War between 1857 and 1861.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Gold Coast Ashanti War between 1873 and 1874.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Ellenborough, of Ellenborough, co. Cumberland [U.K., 1802] on 26 June 1902.1

     Cecil Henry Towry-Law, 6th Baron Ellenborough was born on 25 November 1849.1 He was the son of Hon. Henry Spencer Law and Dorothea Anne Rochfort.2 He married Alice Caroline Astell, daughter of John Harvey Astell, on 22 July 1884.1 He died on 22 January 1931 at age 81.1
     He was also known as Cecil Henry Law.2 He fought in the Afghan War between 1878 and 1879.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Dorset Regiment.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dorset.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1900.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Ellenborough, of Ellenborough, co. Cumberland [U.K., 1802] on 9 December 1915.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Dorset.1
