     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He emigrated to Melbourne, Victoria, AustraliaG, arriving on October 1852.2 He was Clerk of the Central Roads Board [Victoria] on 4 April 1853.2 He was Secretary for the Department of Roads and Bridges [Victoria] in 1860.2 He was Chief Clerk of of the Victorian Railways between 1872 and 1876.2 He was Secretary of of the Victorian Railways between 1876 and 1892.2 He lived at Melbourne, Victoria, AustraliaG.1 He lived in 1892 at Kensington, London, EnglandG.2

     Ethel Adelaide Labertouche was born in 1862 at Melbourne, Victoria, AustraliaG.2 She was the daughter of Peter Paul Labertouche.3 She married Augustus Pelham Brooke Loftus, son of Rt. Hon. Lord Augustus William Frederick Spencer Loftus and Emma Maria Greville, in 1887.1 She died in 1939.1
     From 1887, her married name became Loftus.

Guy Alvo Greville Loftus1

     Guy Alvo Greville Loftus was born on 26 August 1899.1 He was the son of Augustus Pelham Brooke Loftus and Ethel Adelaide Labertouche.2 He married Renee Clementine Eleanor Favin on 7 July 1930.1 He died on 7 August 1965 at age 65, without issue.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards.1 On 3 January 1919 he was court martialled and dismissed from the service for issuing dud cheques.3

     Montagu Egerton Loftus was born on 22 January 1860.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Lord Augustus William Frederick Spencer Loftus and Emma Maria Greville.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Julia Agnes Fairfax Astell, daughter of John Harvey Astell, on 2 September 1897.1 He married, secondly, Colina Marion Monro, daughter of Charles Hames Hale Monro, on 19 October 1904.1 He died on 27 November 1934 at age 74.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was with the Consular Service.1 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1908 4th Class.1

     From 2 September 1897, her married name became Loftus.
