Frances Power was the daughter of Sir John Power, 1st Bt.1 She married John William Power, son of Edmund Power and Anastatia Phelan Lalor, on 30 April 1840.1 She died on 28 January 1893.1
On 14 May 1863 her name was legally changed to Frances de la Poer by Royal Licence, granted that she and her issue by her husband should take and use surname of de la Poer in lieu of that of Power.1
