Lt.-Gen. Coote Hutchinson Synge was born on 7 August 1832.1 He was the son of Francis Hutchinson Synge and Lady Louisa Frances Hely Hutchinson.2 He married Emily Charlotte Jecks, daughter of Charles James Jecks, on 4 August 1888.1 He died on 13 February 1902 at age 69, without issue.1
