     Sir John Fitzgerald married, firstly, Katherine Power, daughter of John Power, 5th Baron Le Power and Coroghmore and Ruth Pypho, in 1658.2 He married, secondly, Lady Helen MacCarty, daughter of Donough MacCarty, 1st Earl of Clancarty and Eleanor Butler, before 1662.1 He died in 1662.1
     Sir John Fitzgerald was Member of Parliament (M.P.).3 He lived at Dromona, County Waterford, Ireland.1 He gained the title of Lord of the Decies [feudal baron].2
