     Hervey Francis de Montmorency was born on 20 July 1802.1 He was the son of Reymond Hervey de Montmorency and Letitia Proby.2 He married Dorothea Anne FitzGerald, daughter of Edward FitzGerald, on 7 September 1832.1 He died on 8 August 1883 at age 81.1
     Hervey Francis de Montmorency gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Madras Cavalry.1 He also had a daughter who died unmarried.1
