     Elizabeth FitzGerald is the daughter of John FitzGerald, 15th Knight of Kerry and Margaret Deane.2 She married Richard Townsend, son of Richard Townsend and Elizabeth Becher, in 1750.1
     From 1750, her married name became Townsend.

     Lt.-Col. John Townsend was born on 11 June 1786.1 He was the son of Richard Boyle Townsend and Henrietta Newenham.2 He died on 23 April 1845 at age 58.1
     Lt.-Col. John Townsend gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 14th Light Dragoons.1 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Victoria.1 He lived at Castle Townsend, County Cork, Ireland.1

     Reverend Maurice FitzGerald Stephens-Townshend was the son of Richard Boyle Townsend and Henrietta Newenham.2 He married Alice Elizabeth Shute, daughter of Richard Shute, on 16 May 1826.1 He died on 2 March 1872.1
     Reverend Maurice FitzGerald Stephens-Townshend was baptised with the name of Maurice FitzGerald Townsend.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.1 He was the Vicar of at Thornbury, Gloucestershire, England.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Gloucestershire.1 On 1870 his name was legally changed to Maurice FitzGerald Stephens-Townshend.1 In 1870 assumed addl surname of STEPHENS and (with his relations) adopted the spelling TOWNSHEND.1 He lived at Castle Townsend, County Cork, Ireland.1
