     Sir Thomas Stanley Birkin, 2nd Bt. was born on 18 October 1857.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Isaac Birkin, 1st Bt. and Harriet Tebbutt.1 He married Hon. Margaret Diana Hopetoun Chetwynd, daughter of Captain Hon. Henry Weyland Chetwynd and Julia Bosville Davidson, on 2 June 1894.1 He died on 7 April 1931 at age 73.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire in 1915.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottinghamshire.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Birkin, of Ruddington Grange, Nottingham [U.K., 1905] on 16 January 1922.1

Major Hon. Charles Cornwallis Chetwynd1

     Major Hon. Charles Cornwallis Chetwynd was born on 17 September 1834.1 He was the son of Richard Walter Chetwynd, 6th Viscount Chetwynd of Bearhaven and Mary Moss.2 He married Emily Hannah Blaauw, daughter of William Henry Blaauw and Harriet King, on 30 October 1860.1 He died on 31 March 1884 at age 49.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 10th Regiment.1

Emily Hannah Blaauw1

     Emily Hannah Blaauw was the daughter of William Henry Blaauw and Harriet King.2,3 She married Major Hon. Charles Cornwallis Chetwynd, son of Richard Walter Chetwynd, 6th Viscount Chetwynd of Bearhaven and Mary Moss, on 30 October 1860.1 She died on 24 September 1919.1
     Her married name became Chetwynd.

     Robert Hildyard Henley Eden was born on 16 December 1863.1 He was the son of Hon. Robert Henley Shaw Eden and Jessie Ellen Hildyard.1 He married Maud Effie Mary von Guttenberg, daughter of Otto Baron von Guttenberg and Katherine Clementina Louis, on 14 April 1887.1 He died on 21 August 1932 at age 68.1
