     Audrey Evelyn James was born on 21 April 1902.2 She was the daughter of William Dodge James and Evelyn Elizabeth Forbes.1,2 She married, firstly, Muir Dudley Coats, son of Sir Stuart Auchincloss Coats, 2nd Bt. and Jane Muir Greenlees, on 25 March 1922.1 She married, secondly, Marshall Field III, son of Marshall Field, Jr. and Albertine Huck, on 18 August 1930.1 She and Marshall Field III were divorced in 1934 at Reno, Nevada, U.S.A..1 She married, thirdly, Hon. Peter Pleydell-Bouverie, son of Jacob Pleydell-Bouverie, 6th Earl of Radnor and Julian Eleanor Adelaide Balfour, on 25 November 1938.1 She and Hon. Peter Pleydell-Bouverie were divorced in 1946.1 She died on 14 February 1968 at age 65.1
      From 25 March 1922, her married name became Coats. From 18 August 1930, her married name became Field.1 Her married name became Pleydell-Bouverie.

     William Dodge James was born on 7 December 1854.2 He was the son of Daniel James and Sophia Hitchcock.2 He married Evelyn Elizabeth Forbes, daughter of Sir Charles John Forbes of Newe, 4th Bt. and Helen Moncreiffe, on 5 March 1889.3 He died on 22 March 1912 at age 57.
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).4 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).4 He was invested as a Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.).1 He lived in 1892 at West Dean Park, Chichester, Sussex, England.4
