     John James Hornby was born on 18 December 1826.1 He was the son of Admiral Sir Phipps Hornby and Maria Sophia Burgoyne.1 He died on 2 November 1909 at age 82.1
     John James Hornby was invested as a Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.).1 He was the headmaster between 1868 and 1884 at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1

     Captain Cecil Gunston was the son of Major Bernard Hamilton Gunston.2 He married Lady Doris Gwendoline Blackwood, daughter of Terence John Temple Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood, 2nd Marquess of Dufferin and Ava and Florence Davis, on 19 October 1922.1 He died on 9 December 1934.1
     Captain Cecil Gunston gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Grenadier Guads.1 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.).1
