     Margaret Dalrymple was born circa 1677. She was the daughter of John Dalrymple, 1st Earl of Stair. She married Hugh Campbell, 3rd Earl of Loudoun, son of James Campbell, 2nd Earl of Loudoun and Lady Margaret Montgomerie, on 6 April 1700. She died on 3 April 1777.
     Her married name became Campbell.

     General John Campbell, 4th Earl of Loudoun was born on 5 May 1705. He was the son of Hugh Campbell, 3rd Earl of Loudoun and Margaret Dalrymple. He died on 27 April 1782 at age 76, unmarried.
     General John Campbell, 4th Earl of Loudoun gained the title of 4th Earl of Loudoun. He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.1

     Theophilus Hastings, 9th Earl of Huntingdon was born on 12 November 1696. He was the son of Theophilus Hastings, 7th Earl of Huntingdon and Mary Frances Fowler.1 He married Lady Selina Shirley, daughter of Sir Washington Shirley, 2nd Earl Ferrers and Mary Levinge, on 3 June 1728.2 He died on 13 October 1746 at age 49.1
     Theophilus Hastings, 9th Earl of Huntingdon succeeded to the title of 14th Lord Botreaux [E., 1368] on 22 February 1704/5.1 He succeeded to the title of 9th Earl of Huntingdon on 22 February 1704/5.

     Lady Selina Shirley was the daughter of Sir Washington Shirley, 2nd Earl Ferrers and Mary Levinge.3 She married Theophilus Hastings, 9th Earl of Huntingdon, son of Theophilus Hastings, 7th Earl of Huntingdon and Mary Frances Fowler, on 3 June 1728.1 She died on 17 June 1791.1
     Her married name became Hastings.

     Sir Washington Shirley, 2nd Earl Ferrers was born on 22 June 1677.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Shirley, 1st Earl Ferrers and Elizabeth Washington.2 He married Mary Levinge, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Richard Levinge, 1st Bt..1 He died on 14 April 1729 at age 51, without male issue.1
     Sir Washington Shirley, 2nd Earl Ferrers succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Shirley, of Staunton Harold [E., 1611] on 25 December 1717.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Viscount Tamworth, of co. Stafford [G.B., 1711] on 25 December 1717.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Earl Ferrers [G.B., 1711] on 25 December 1717.1

     Theophilus Hastings, 7th Earl of Huntingdon was born on 10 December 1650. He was the son of Ferdinando Hastings, 6th Earl of Huntingdon.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Lewis, daughter of Sir John Lewis, Bt., on 19 February 1671. He married, secondly, Mary Frances Fowler, daughter of Francis Leveson Fowler, on 8 May 1690. He died on 30 May 1701 at age 50.1
     Theophilus Hastings, 7th Earl of Huntingdon succeeded to the title of 12th Lord Botreaux [E., 1368] on 13 February 1656.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Earl of Huntingdon on 13 February 1656.

     Mary Frances Fowler was born circa 1664.1 She was the daughter of Francis Leveson Fowler. She married, firstly, Thomas Needham, 6th Viscount Kilmorey on 4 December 1679. She and Francis Brereton, 5th Baron Brereton of Leighlin obtained a marriage license on 14 February 1687/88 although this marriage never took place.1 She married, secondly, Theophilus Hastings, 7th Earl of Huntingdon, son of Ferdinando Hastings, 6th Earl of Huntingdon, on 8 May 1690. She died on 26 December 1723.
     From 4 December 1679, her married name became Needham. As a result of her marriage, Mary Frances Fowler was styled as Dowager Viscountess Kilmorey on 26 November 1687.1 From 8 May 1690, her married name became Hastings.
