     Dorothy Port was the daughter of Sir John Port.¹ She married George Hastings, 4th Earl of Huntingdon, son of Francis Hastings, 2nd Earl of Huntingdon and Catherine Pole, in July 1557.² She died on 2 September 1607.
      Her married name became Hastings. As a result of her marriage, Dorothy Port was styled as Countess of Huntingdon on 14 December 1595.

     George Hastings, 4th Earl of Huntingdon was born circa 1540.¹ He was the son of Francis Hastings, 2nd Earl of Huntingdon and Catherine Pole.^2,1 He married Dorothy Port, daughter of Sir John Port, in July 1557.¹ He died on 31 December 1604.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Derbyshire in 1562.¹ He was invested as a Knight in 1565.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Leicestershire in 1571.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Leicestershire between 1584 and 1587.¹ He succeeded to the title of 5th Lord Hastings, of Hungerford [E., 1482] on 14 December 1595.¹ He succeeded to the title of 6th Lord Hastings [E., 1461] on 14 December 1595.¹ He succeeded to the title of 9th Lord Botreaux [E., 1368] on 14 December 1595.² He succeeded to the title of 4th Earl of Huntingdon [E., 1529] on 14 December 1595.¹ He inherited Dale Abbey, Derbyshire through his wife.¹

     Francis Hastings, Lord Hastings was the son of George Hastings, 4th Earl of Huntingdon and Dorothy Port.^1,2 He married Sarah Harington, daughter of Sir James Harington and Lucy Sydney, before 1586.² He died on 17 December 1595.²

     Sarah Harington was born circa 1566.³ She was the daughter of Sir James Harington and Lucy Sydney.^1,4 She married, secondly, Sir George Kingsmill.⁵ She married, firstly, Francis Hastings, Lord Hastings, son of George Hastings, 4th Earl of Huntingdon and Dorothy Port, before 1586.⁵ She married, thirdly, Edward la Zouche, 11th Lord Zouche (of Haryngworth), son of George la Zouche, 10th Lord Zouche (of Haryngworth) and Margaret Welby, circa October 1611.⁶ She married, fourthly, Sir Thomas Edmonds in 1626.⁵ She died on 3 October 1629.³
      Her married name became Kingsmill.⁵ From before 1586, her married name became Hastings. From 1626, her married name became Edmonds.⁵

     John Symonds Radway married Judith Lawson, daughter of Stanley Matthew Lawson, before 1960.¹

     Hon. Caryl Digby Baring was born on 13 January 1880.¹ He was the son of Alexander Hugh Baring, 4th Baron Ashburton and Hon. Leonora Caroline Digby.¹ He married Ivy Firman, daughter of Humphrey Brooke Firman, on 28 November 1907.¹ He died on 12 July 1956 at age 76.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Coldstream Guards.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Ferdinando Hastings, 6th Earl of Huntingdon was born on 18 January 1608/9.² He was the son of Henry Hastings, 5th Earl of Huntingdon and Lady Elizabeth Stanley.^1,2 He married Lucy Davies, daughter of Sir John Davies and Eleanor Touchet, on 7 August 1623.² He died on 13 February 1655/56 at age 47.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Leicestershire in 1625.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Leicestershire from 1628 to 1629.² He was educated at Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.² He was called up to House of Lds vp in his f's Barony of Hastings in October 1640.³ He succeeded to the title of 8th Lord Hastings [E., 1461] in October 1640, in his father's lifetime.² He succeeded to the title of 6th Earl of Huntingdon [E., 1529] on 14 November 1643.² He succeeded to the title of 11th Lord Botreaux [E., 1368] on 14 November 1643.¹ He succeeded to the title of 7th Lord Hastings, of Hungerford [E., 1482] on 14 November 1643.²

     Lucy Davies was born on 20 January 1612 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.³ She was the daughter of Sir John Davies and Eleanor Touchet.^1,3 She married Ferdinando Hastings, 6th Earl of Huntingdon, son of Henry Hastings, 5th Earl of Huntingdon and Lady Elizabeth Stanley, on 7 August 1623.¹ She died on 14 November 1679 at age 67.³
      Her married name became Hastings. As a result of her marriage, Lucy Davies was styled as Countess of Huntingdon on 14 November 1643.

     Sir John Davies lived at Englefield, Berkshire, England.¹
