     John Crawfurd of Kilbirnie was the son of John Crawfurd of Kilbirnie and Margaret Blair.2 He married Lady Mary Cuninghame, daughter of James Cuninghame, 7th Earl of Glencairn and Margaret Campbell.1 He died in 1629.1

      From 12 March 1659, her married name became Stewart.1

Sir Archibald Stewart of Blackhall, 1st Bt.1

     Sir Archibald Stewart of Blackhall, 1st Bt. was born circa 1635.2 He was the son of John Stewart and Mary Stirling.1,2 He married, thirdly, Mary Douglas.2 He married, secondly, Agnes Dalmahoy, daughter of Sir Alexander Dalmahoy of that Ilk.2 He married by contract, firstly, Ann Crawfurd, daughter of Sir John Crawfurd of Kilbirnie, 1st Bt. and Magdalen Carnegie, on 12 March 1659.1 He died circa 1722.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Renfrewshire in 1667.2 He was created 1st Baronet Stewart, of Greenock and Blackhall, co. Renfrew [Nova Scotia] on 27 March 1667.2
