     Hon. Eileen Mabel Lowther Crofton was born on 24 March 1894.1 She was the daughter of Arthur Edward Lowther Crofton, 4th Baron Crofton of Mote and Jessie Castle Hewitson.2 She married Commander Sir Geoffrey Henry Hughes-Onslow on 23 September 1918.1 She died in 1972.1
     From 23 September 1918, her married name became Hughes-Onslow.

     Ann Tighe is the daughter of G/Capt. Charles Herbert Tighe.2 She married Edward Blaise Crofton, 5th Baron Crofton of Mote, son of Hon. Edward Charles Crofton and Cecilia Mabel Day, on 10 June 1948.1 She and Edward Blaise Crofton, 5th Baron Crofton of Mote were divorced in 1963.1
     As a result of her marriage, Ann Tighe was styled as Baroness Crofton of Mote on 10 June 1948. From 10 June 1948, her married name became Crofton.
