     Daphne Violet Finnis was the daughter of Robert Finnis.2 She married Douglas Eric Hacking, 2nd Baron Hacking, son of Douglas Hewitt Hacking, 1st Baron Hacking and Margery Allen Bolton, on 19 February 1936.1 She died on 21 June 1998.1
      From 19 February 1936, her married name became Hacking.1
