     William Deedes was born in 1733.1 He was the son of Reverend Julius Deedes and Dorothy Denew.2 He married Mary Branston, daughter of Thomas Branston, in 1758.3 He died on 16 October 1793.1
     William Deedes was educated at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.3 He had three younger sons and three daughters.4
