     Elizabeth Bransby was born circa 1672.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Bransby and Elizabeth (?)1 She married Sir Philip Astley, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Jacob Astley, 1st Bt. and Blanche Wodehouse, on 2 December 1690 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 She died on 30 March 1738.1 She was buried on 7 April 1738 at Melton Constable, Norfolk, EnglandG.1
     From 2 December 1690, her married name became Astley.1

     Sir Jacob Astley, 3rd Bt. was born on 3 January 1691/92.1 He was the son of Sir Philip Astley, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Bransby.1 He was baptised on 23 January 1691/92 at Melton Constable, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 He married, firstly, Lucy le Strange, daughter of Sir Nicholas le Strange, 4th Bt. and Anne Wodehouse, in 1721.1 He married, secondly, Judith Watlington, daughter of Isaac Watlington, on 1 May 1740 at Finchingfield, Essex, EnglandG.1 A settlement for the marriage between him and Sarah Bedingfeld was made on 14 July 1744.1 He died on 5 January 1760 at age 68.1 He was buried on 11 January 1760 at Melton Constable, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 26 January 1760.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Astley, of Hill Morton, co. Warwick [E., 1660] on 7 July 1739.1 His last will was dated 19 December 1751.

     Lucy le Strange was baptised on 23 January 1699 at Hunstanton, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of Sir Nicholas le Strange, 4th Bt. and Anne Wodehouse.1 She married Sir Jacob Astley, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Philip Astley, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Bransby, in 1721.1 She died on 25 June 1739 at age 40.1 She was buried on 13 July 1739 at Melton Constable, Norfolk, EnglandG.1
     From 1721, her married name became Astley.1

     Sir Nicholas le Strange, 4th Bt. was born on 2 December 1661.1 He was the son of Sir Nicholas le Strange, 3rd Bt. and Mary Coke.1 He married Anne Wodehouse, daughter of Sir Thomas Wodehouse and Anne Armyne, on 2 December 1685.1 He was also reported to have been married on 2 December 1686.2 He died on 18 December 1724 at age 63.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet le Strange, of Hunstanton, co. Norfolk [E., 1629] on 13 December 1669.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)2

     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet le Strange, of Hunstanton, co. Norfolk [E., 1629] on 8 November 1751.2

     From 2 December 1685, her married name became le Strange.1

     He lived at Kimberley, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 He was appointed Knight in 1663.5

     Judith Watlington was the daughter of Isaac Watlington.1 She married, firstly, Gresham Page before 1740.1 She married, secondly, Sir Jacob Astley, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Philip Astley, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Bransby, on 1 May 1740 at Finchingfield, Essex, EnglandG.1 She died on 7 March 1742/43, without issue.1 She was buried on 9 March 1742/43 at Melton Constable, Norfolk, EnglandG.1
     From before 1740, her married name became Page.1 From 1 May 1740, her married name became Astley.1
