     Clare Beauchamp Glover Belding was born on 24 August 1873 at South Creake, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He was the son of Davy Turner Belding and Rachel Esther Bale.¹ He died on 11 March 1915 at age 41 at Neuve Chapelle, France^G, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 2nd Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment.¹
