     Joseph Edward Pease, 3rd Baron Gainford was born on 25 December 1921.¹ He is the son of Joseph Pease, 2nd Baron Gainford and Veronica Margaret Noble.¹ He married Margaret Theophilia Radcliffe Tyndale, daughter of Henry Edmund Guise Tyndale and Ruth Isabel Walcott Radcliffe, on 21 March 1953.¹
