     Maud Elizabeth Furse Radcliffe was the daughter of Alexander Nelson Radcliffe.2 She married Ronald Gorell Barnes, 3rd Baron Gorell, son of John Gorell Barnes, 1st Baron Gorell and Mary Humpston Mitchell, on 10 January 1922.1 She died on 26 April 1954.1
     As a result of her marriage, Maud Elizabeth Furse Radcliffe was styled as Baroness Gorell on 10 January 1922. From 10 January 1922, her married name became Barnes.
