     Hugh 'Du' Mackay of Farr, Tongue and Strathnaver was the son of Iye 'Du' Mackay and Christian Sinclair.2 He married, firstly, Lady Margaret Sinclair, daughter of George Sinclair, 4th Earl of Caithness and Lady Elizabeth Graham.2 He married, secondly, Lady Jane Gordon, daughter of Alexander Gordon, 12th Earl of Sutherland and Lady Jean Gordon, in December 1589.2 He died on 11 September 1614.2
     He lived at Tongue, Sutherland, ScotlandG.2 He lived at Farr, Sutherland, ScotlandG.2 He lived at Strathnaver, Sutherland, ScotlandG.2 He was also known as Huistean Mackay.2 Hugh 'Du' Mackay of Farr, Tongue and Strathnaver also went by the nick-name of Hugh 'Dhu' (or in English, 'the Dark').2

     Sir Thomas Miller of Glenlee, 1st Bt. was born on 3 November 1717.1 He was the son of William Miller of Glenlee and Janet Hamilton.3 He married, secondly, Anne Lockhart, daughter of John Lockhart.1 He married, firstly, Margaret Murdoch, daughter of John Murdoch, on 16 April 1753.1 He died on 27 September 1789 at age 71.1
     He held the office of Lord President of the Court of Session.1 He was created 1st Baronet Miller, of Glenlee, Kirkcudbrightshire [Great Britain] on 3 March 1788.1

     Isabel Russell, Countess of Menteith is the daughter of Sir John Russell and Isabel, Countess of Menteith.1 She married Sir Edmund Hastings, 1st and last Lord Hastings (of Inchmahome), son of Sir Henry de Hastings and Joan de Cauntelo.1
     She gained the title of Coutness of Menteith. Her married name became Hastings.1

     Thomas Miller was the son of Sir William Miller of Glenlee, 2nd Bt. and Grizel Chalmers.2 He married Edwina Cumming, daughter of Colonel Sir Alexander Penrose Cumming-Gordon of Altyre, 1st Bt. and Helen Grant, in 1814.1 He died in 1827.1
