Andrew Knowles before 1950.2 She married, secondly, Charles Swinfen Eady, 2nd Baron Swinfen, son of Charles Swinfen Eady, 1st Baron Swinfen and Blanche Maude Lee, on 10 November 1950.2
     From before 1950, her married name became Knowles.2 After her marriage, Averil Kathleen Suzanne Humphreys was styled as Baroness Swinfen on 10 November 1950. From 10 November 1950, her married name became Eady.2 She lived in 2003 at Bureneskeet, Friars Hill, Thomastown, County Kilkenny, Ireland.2

     Sir Edward Maynard des Champs Chamier was born on 4 June 1866 at India.2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Francis Edward Archibald Chamier and Annie Maria Caroline Johnstone.2 He married Alice Mary Cobb on 2 October 1894.2 He died on 17 November 1945 at age 79.2

     Brigadier George des Champs Chamier was the son of Sir Edward Maynard des Champs Chamier.2 He married Marion Erica Gascoigne, daughter of Lt.-Col. Cecil Claud Hugh Orby Gascoigne and Eva Marion Munro of Foulis, in 1934.1 He died in 1987.
     He gained the rank of Brigadier in the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1
