     Elizabeth de Moravia, Countess of Sutherland was the daughter of John de Moravia, 8th Earl of Sutherland and Margaret Macdonald. She married Adam Gordon, son of George Gordon, 2nd Earl of Huntly and Lady Elizabeth Hay, circa 1500.1 She died circa September 1535 at Aboyne Castle, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
     She gained the title of Countess of Sutherland. Her married name became Gordon.

     Adam Gordon was the son of George Gordon, 2nd Earl of Huntly and Lady Elizabeth Hay.1,2 He married Elizabeth de Moravia, Countess of Sutherland, daughter of John de Moravia, 8th Earl of Sutherland and Margaret Macdonald, circa 1500.1 He died between 17 March 1537 and 1538.
     He gained the title of Lord of Aboyne [feudal barony].1

     Alexander Gordon, Master of Sutherland was the son of Adam Gordon and Elizabeth de Moravia, Countess of Sutherland. He married Lady Janet Stewart, daughter of John Stewart, 2nd Earl of Atholl and Lady Janet Campbell, circa 16 June 1520.1 He died on 15 January 1529.
     He was styled as Master of Sutherland.

     John Gordon, 11th Earl of Sutherland was the son of Alexander Gordon, Master of Sutherland and Lady Janet Stewart. He married, firstly, Lady Elizabeth Campbell, daughter of Colin Campbell, 3rd Earl of Argyll and Jean Gordon, circa 1544. He married, secondly, Lady Elizabeth Stuart, daughter of John Stuart, 12th Earl of Lennox and Lady Elizabeth Stewart, on 15 April 1549. He married, thirdly, Marion Seton, daughter of George Seton, 4th Lord Seton and Elizabeth Hay, after 1564.1 He died on 23 June 1567, from poison, along with his wife.
      John Gordon, 11th Earl of Sutherland also went by the nick-name of 'the Good Earl John'. He gained the title of 11th Earl of Sutherland. He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.2

     Alexander Gordon, 12th Earl of Sutherland was born circa 1552. He was the son of John Gordon, 11th Earl of Sutherland and Lady Elizabeth Stuart. He and an unknown person were divorced. He married Lady Jean Gordon, daughter of George Gordon, 4th Earl of Huntly and Elizabeth Keith, on 13 December 1573 at Strathbogie, Scotland.1 He died on 6 December 1594.
     He gained the title of 12th Earl of Sutherland.

Major Hon. Francis William White1

     Major Hon. Francis William White was born on 23 May 1873.1 He was the son of Luke White, 2nd Baron Annaly of Annaly and Rathcline and Emily Stuart.1 He married Anna Elizabeth Jaeger, daughter of C. Jaeger, on 14 July 1910.1 He died on 15 July 1931 at age 58.1
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He was temporary Major and Superintendant of the Remount Services in 1915.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the General List.1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.1

     John Gordon, 13th Earl of Sutherland was born on 20 July 1576. He was the son of Alexander Gordon, 12th Earl of Sutherland and Lady Jean Gordon. He married Agnes Elphinstone, daughter of Alexander Elphinstone, 4th Lord Elphinstone and Jean Livingstone, on 1 February 1600.1 He died on 11 September 1615 at age 39.
     He gained the title of 13th Earl of Sutherland.

     John Gordon, 14th Earl of Sutherland was born on 9 March 1609. He was the son of John Gordon, 13th Earl of Sutherland and Agnes Elphinstone. He married, firstly, Lady Jean Drummond, daughter of James Drummond, 1st Earl of Perth and Lady Isabel Seton, on 14 February 1632.1 He married, secondly, Anne Fraser, daughter of Hugh Fraser, 7th Lord Lovat and Isabel Wemyss, on 24 January 1639. He died on 14 October 1679 at age 70.
     He gained the title of 14th Earl of Sutherland.

     George Gordon, 15th Earl of Sutherland was born on 2 November 1633. He was the son of John Gordon, 14th Earl of Sutherland and Lady Jean Drummond. He married Jean Wemyss, daughter of David Wemyss, 2nd Earl of Wemyss and Hon. Anna Balfour, on 11 August 1659.1 He died on 4 March 1702/3 at age 69.1
     He gained the title of 15th Earl of Sutherland.1
