     Katherine Maule Jardine was the daughter of John Jardine and Elizabeth Craig.2 She married Hugh Miles Milman on 15 July 1871.1 She died in 1947.1
     From 15 July 1871, her married name became Milman.

     Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 8th Bt. was born on 10 February 1829.1 He is the son of Sir William Jardine of Applegirth, 7th Bt. and Janes Home Lizars.2 He married Henrietta Younger, daughter of William Younger, on 28 December 1861.1 He died on 14 January 1893 at age 63.1
     Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 8th Bt. was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England.1 He was educated at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Jardine, of Applegirth [N.S., 1672] on 9 November 1874.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He lived at Jardine Hall, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.1

     Captain William Jardine was born on 23 January 1834.1 He was the son of Sir William Jardine of Applegirth, 7th Bt. and Janes Home Lizars.2 He married Louisa Archer Harvey, daughter of George Cockburn Harvey, on 16 June 1864.1 He died on 28 October 1869 at age 35.1
     Captain William Jardine gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1
